FAITH’S FOOT is resting on a portion of Plymouth Rock that was removed from Plymouth beach. Plymouth Rock traditionally is said to be the rock where the Pilgrims first landed. It was by “faith” that the Pilgrims left the known world to launch out to seek a land where they would have freedom to worship God and be able to establish a beachhead to freely take the Gospel to the nations. The name “Faith” is engraved on the pedestal for “without faith it is impossible to please God” (Heb. 11:6).
